Yes Tim. Good ideas. And I agree that consumers haven't learned to care about xyz. The key is making whatever name stick in our sub-conscious. Hopefully whatever is used, the rest of the CDMA community will want to leverage, and contribute to, the branding efforts.

As long as CDMA is associated with a rational product differentiator (e.g., superior call clarity, lowest usage costs), it's O.K. to use it. Unfortunately, carriers like Omnipoint have taken a first strike on call clarity. Whatever differentiator is used or is represented, it must be positioned almost like the "end-all, be-all" of the product differentiator(s). ...Or as much as the law tolerates. ;-)

Regards,
Greg

Tim A.,

I think CDMA promotion should be spearheaded by the CDG as a team.

QC should be promoting "Qualcomm inside", "Qualcomm, the company that brought you the Q", etc.

In the mean time, anyone wants to take a stab on next weeks numbers? How about you Mike (since there are so many of you these days)?

Also, QC had a habit of releasing a ton of press releases around the same time of earnings rpt. Any idea what may be coming up this time?
