O/T marc chatman...

...''touting'' ? - to sell into a spike ? -

No; all was tongue in cheek; obviously I'll leave the touting to Morgan Stanley & DLJ. EVI is also my favorite in the sector. And it is a long, long term hold. I do little short term trading. It's perhaps the premiere mid-size (SLB, HAL, BHI - in another league) service company and it's Weatherford acquisition is not factored strongly enough into today's valuations. They have a top tier reputation for their management and operating lean & mean. Their PE is ludicrous, at this level it is the ultimate - no brainer (IMHO)... The only selling I plan to is to perhaps close out margin positions on my core holdings after my anticipated run up... the cash long stock positions will stay; I see a 3-5 year future for this sector that will be very bright. The demand from the growing emerging economies of the world will make this ''the'' place to be IMHO...

PS; honesty is next to modesty; I took it in the shorts (just 100 shares) on OIL; I had bought on the dip after no news of a buyout and sold this a.m. off the obvious bad news & CEO resignation. So much for my ''short-term'' trading ability...should stick to my own advice - huh ? If you can't laugh at yourself... Triton looks to be dead money for a while; took the loss - replaced the cash with a buy on GGY (seismic - cheap right now guys...) ... win some - loose some !
