I think that Slider is having that rig party in his own pants again... Tooting his own horn and constantly putting down the opinions of others on these threads belies an insecure personality. Yes Slider, the "buddies" have allowed me to achieve a much lower cost basis on my current holdings of VRC, EVI, & FGII than those achieved by people that have been in the unfortunate situation of averaging down. Averaging down in my investment lexicon is a euphemism usually employed by amateurs for justifying a losing position on a stock that has been bought and held at too high a price. Slider in the Red has been critical of others that try and time the market, yet is only too eager when giving himself credit for calling the bottom. [on more than one occasion]
