I didn't know that AMD would be "buying" the processors from IBM. I thought there was a possibility of a deal similar to what Cyrix had with IBM, and each chip IBM made for AMD would be pure profit. You certainly know a great deal more about this than I so I'm assuming you're correct about AMD buying chips from IBM and not using the barter system as they did with CYRIX.
