<If GE has the gold and I hope they
do, this thread will have no bearing on the final outcome.>

How true! But it has been shown how powerful this thread can be, just look at what happened when the RMN ran the civil suit article, which was posted only here, and on RMN's site, and picked up nowhere else. From .185 down to .07 in a matter of a couple of hours, then when the news was deflected, diseminated, shown for what it was, on this thread, back up to close at .135 in a matter of minutes.

We'll never have a bearing on the final outcome, but in the meantime, who knows? Why else would so many different people, press, and organizations be following this thread. I for one think that it is really good that some of them have to wade through all the b.s., the chit chat, the Friday night partying sometimes, and all the good stuff, to follow it. Make 'em do a little work and spend a little time on it.

At worst, we are all learning a lot, about a lot of different things: SEC, rules, pinks, OTC BB, MM's, mining, reports, analysis, people, motives, etc. And some of us are making lasting friends here.

And then the real bonus - so many damn bookmarks that we'll all need librarians just to sort them out!
