*AV*--nice approach since it might kill 2 birds with one stone. I could pay myself monthly since the bills are monthly and take out, say $4000 to cover expenses and let the rest ride in a high yield investment like you mentioned. This makes a good deal of sense since the remainder is protected and creates dividends.

Pretty soon (well maybe in a few years) it builds up enough that the high yield investment pays the salary and I do not have to worry about pulling stuff out of the market. I like long range plans and this seems to be worth the effort. Stingy Andrew will probably cut corners until he has the final principal total into the High Yield Salary Investment, commonly called (from now on) HYSI.

Let's see, 5% tax-free would require $1 million. With a $20K stake, how long will it take to accomplish this???<GGG> Probably 5-7 years, if things go well. Talk about your LONG term programs.<GGG>
