Bob:

This is not in response to your question. I just responded to a fellow on RB regarding book value of reserves and thought it was applicable to this group as well. Please correct me if I am wrong here:

<<We will not be able to calculate book value of the company from these reserve studies. What we will be able to do is determine proved undeveloped reserves and from that a standardized measure of discounted future net cash flows relating to those proved oil and gas reserves (I hope). While this is the true "value" of these reserves, do not let the naysayers imply that it is the "book value" of the company. WE will have to take the value of these reserves as reported above and compare to similar companies in the industry to value the stock.

I would suggest if anyone who wants to assist in accurately valuing MTEI stock after the Stagg reports start appearing, they should go to Edgar and download the latest NETD and Cabot Oil & Gas 10-K's and read the sections on proved reserves and standardized measure of discounted future net cash flows relating to proved oil and gas reserves. It is really only a few pages of the report and would help in understanding this lingo.

Any correction by anyone more informed than me would be appreciated.>>

Eric
