There was a little talk about competition. As expected, the older S/UNI products are seeing comps from the Transwitch and IDT. They used to have some comp (minimal since it was in a diff layer) from IgT - now they own the eighth largest ATM chip maker. FREEDM has been beating the pants (I have heard this elswhere as well) off of Siemens. Some talk about Gallium Ar chips taking market share. Company said they see no evidence and in fact work with VTSS in some designs. PMC's ethernet chips are seen to be taking market share aware from Galileo and Level One. Everywhere you look - they're making the right moves (except in the market today!) BD
