Thanks for the reply. I agree that GE is doing alot of work in this area and that this could be of great benifit for Fonar! I am sure that they are watching and learning. It sounds like GE has 10 in the field I would guess that is close to $50,000,000 in R & D that fonar can utilize if they stay open and keep their ears to the ground.

I suspected that that PR peice was written by GE and you just helped me to confirm that.

One of the replies I got back on my little survey was from Bruce Leggett of SofamorDanek/ Surgical Navigation Technologies. They make the Stealth Station Image Guided Surgery System. Are you familiar with this system? He, though admittedly not an MRI engineer, said he had experience selling the GE double-donut and thought that "one nice application that the or360 may not have is evaluating the loaded spine in standing and seated position." ....I am interested in finding out more about this Stealth system. Does Fonar need it?
