You have lost me! In your previous post you said "It is unlikely that they EVER go long or short an issue such as SGGNF by more then a handful of shares. Why bother. If you make .50 a trade with no risk (very little) why take a position that good wipe all those profits away. Speculation that the "MM's are dropping the stock to build a position" is a complete waste of time."
Now you are saying MM's are keeping inventory; which is it (???)

I am not in the investment business. Consequently I have no inside info but from everything I have read, it sure sounds like a trader who ends up with a large long position at the end of the day might as well check the employment ads instead of going back to work the next day.

Please correct me if I'm wrong or if I misunderstood one of your posts.

Thanks
kidl

Rickerbucks, are you still out there?

I've just been reviewing the SGGNF posts over the past couple of months and saw your posts in July. I finally clued into who you are.

For anyone who missed his introduction, he's in the investment business. I doubt that he'll be any more specific, but trust me - he's in a position to know what he's talking about. He has volunteered to help clarify confusions we may have about how the market works. While I can understand his reluctance to talk about the company specifically, his presence is an excellent resource for this thread.

Rickerbucks, if you're still around and willing to post, I hope you won't mind if I suggest to others that if they have questions about how the market works that they address them to you. Thank you for choosing to start posting.
