Nanda, Jeff and JDN - Re.: Pre-announcement
My expectation was 4 cents, although Jeff thought it was too conservative. Now we see that they will fall short of 6 cents and will break even. The price fell back to the past trading range of $4-5, representing about 15-20% loss from 5 1/4. Pre-announcement is on the other extreme, plain negative.

They are not expecting high margins in the y2k business. Can they tell us how their margins in the new mix of projects are expected to grow? May be too "gun-shy" to predict earnings growth? will the CEO who owns 56% (?) of the stock want to see his equity drift down to zero? May be not. Nanda, it may take longer than 6 months for this one to go back to teens.

They have to convince the street about their earnings growth, or else... Ram
