Short version of a long story:

Transquest spun off of Delta, joint venture with AT&T. Separate company, just like WorldSpan. Delta IT folks had to go with TQ or find a new place to work.

AT&T bursts into a thousand tiny pieces.

TQ ends up paired up with NCR after AT&T blew up.

Delta issues stock options around this time.

Delta takes over Transquest (TQ) again as a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Delta Technology (DT) subsidiary formed out of remains of TQ almost 1 year ago today. DT people are given Delta-like benefits over the year.
