LG, Nothing private about me, except the parts I occasionally hide under the rain coat until the school girls walk by. <G>

Actually, I haven't had much response to this article yet. I think that is because it is the 4th one I've written for IFC and SI regulars have kind of gotten used to my sarcastic style. Since I am considered a bear, I figured I would shock them with my extensive list of long positions, but, so far, they have proven rather unshockable.

I pretty much write an article for IFC every quarter and will do so again if Mark Johnson asks me and I don't get sued.

I kind of expected some reaction to my comments about funky accounting, but so many folks posted on this thread after the first time I talked about it, that they are still reeling from the number of examples the Burke thread layabouts threw at them. Many neophyte investors thought pointing a finger at goofus accounting was sour grapes on my part, but it has become such a fact of corporate life that they never examine it.

So, not much reaction so far, but there may be more over the weekend when a lot of folks catch up on their financial reading. I know that 10,000 + read one of my earlier pieces, "Tech Tock, Tech Tock." If I get that many this time, then there should be some commentors.

BTW, I loved the cartoons on your personal profile. I don't agree with all you said. For example, as a Houstonian, I wish the tornado would take the cowboys, if it didn't do so last year <G>, but the stuff really looked good.
