Who cares, enjoy the ride up and down. Just dont expect to time it perfectly.

Internet stocks will stay for at least for some more time. Partly because of the predicted growth rates of the 'Net and more because the people who are buying are expecting YHOO to be the next DELL.

I suspect either ONSL or XCIT will fall first.

It is altogether possible they won't fall. That before that happens, revenue catches up to valuation. Now here comes the comforting part. Do you like to sleep at night? Yes they rise very quickly, but with increased risk. Is it worth it? I know people who have made money on amzn and the like. I also know people who have lost fortunes and are now joining the work-a-day world.

I like to sleep. I invested $500 in MSFT 5 weeks ago and it has grown to $700. I know it is small potatoes, but I sleep very well.

Sorry Jason, but Broadcom opened up 54 points today... It is pretty ridiculous though. A couple weeks back I read that AOL's market cap was around 21 billion and Yahoo was around 8 billion. Put together, not all that much less than CPQ's when this stock was at it's low. There's nothing like some neophyte investor telling you 'hey, I just made 500% in six months, what about you??'. These things always do have a way of correcting themselves. Remember Netscape and Spyglass the first time around.....

John

My guess is that they will fall as a group, when sentiment changes and reality returns. Spyglass rose from the teens to around 100, then back to the teens. Netscape crashed also, but not quite as much.
