Top of the line for consumer market would be fine to me.

I don't think they want to compete that badly on high end server market, because the numbers of cpu's are just not of significance.

Why do you think the Sub-zero market segment is growing every day, and why do you think that AMD is producing cpu's for that class.
Gee, even intel has corected it's mistake, and hastly started to produce low-end cpu's, simply because they understand where the profits are made. The consumer market changes from day to day.

I actually ment "brains" in the sense , that even customers are starting to see that intel RIGHT NOW isn't the best option.

I don't doubt that intel HAD better and more competetive cpu's, but I'm talking for the next Quarter(s).
