What did you think of net stock action today ? I got into
YHOO today at 185 with a stop loss at 177. AMZN or AOL's earnings
could further drive them higher. ALTR held pretty well considering
XLNX tanked 4 points. Would you consider today's AVEI action a breakout ? Thinking of buying some AVEI. Check out some of the
property title companies like FAF, FNF, STC. They have been red hot
with the strong housing growth in the US.

Hi Clint,

This month has not been too exciting for me either though I haven't had any big losers. I guess it cannot compare to last month with the action in the net stocks. This month has been the month of big stocks and momentum stocks and there have been a number of tanks along with a number of rockets. I think LHSPF and PMCS are in better shape than SAVLY. SAVLY is going to take a while to recover. LHSPF should be making a run soon. PMCS is in a hot sector and should do OK. BTW, I think I'll be going long QLGC soon (for a short term trade) rather than shorting it but I agree that it would be a nice longer term short.
Any guesses on next week? How long do you suspect the Naz run would continue. This upmove has been sharper than the previous one but more concentrated in the nets and the biggies and selected telecom/networking/software stocks.

Hopefully I have some time today to do my due diligence on stock ideas for next week.
