It's amazing... Siebel just had the most amazing quarter,
especially considering the following merger issues, and
some of you guys just want to tear apart the relevance of
111 day DSO... geez... I wish my firm could blow away
targets and still have $180M in cash and millions more
that are still to be collected... sounds like Q3 will be hot...
DSO is not an irrelevant metric, but look at the half-full
view instead (reserve revenues)...

Here's what I mean about the merger:
* Q2 sales effort didn't even get moving until after May 19
* 28% loss of Scopus personnel (of approx. 450 employees pre-merger
* Product integration issues
* Sales message issues - migrations, upgrades, etc...
* Company integrations issues -- personnel, payroll, culture...

Rather than a "wait and see" attitude, the market seems to
have jumped on this ship...

Hmm... let's see... a wide-open market, Vantive and Clarify not
even in the picture anymore, Oracle still 18-24 months behind
schedule, SAP abandoning its SFA program in Russia and starting
from scratch in India... I wonder how Siebel will perform?

I think the answer is obvious, regardless of DSO.
