" Are you once again confused ? As far as I know - Microsoft HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IRIDIUM. Bill Gates and Craig McCaw are developing their OWN INDEPENDENT Satellite system - TELEDESIC - for wireless digital data transmission/communications. If anything, this would compete with Iridium except for the fact that Iridium is targeted at Voice Communications. Paul
