Excellent news SC!

Great to hear the latest word. That really sounds positive, both for the immediate TX deal and for the future. Hard to believe Mark would tell you that much info. If it gets confirmed, I'm going to start buying more.

Looking over the Level II information, I don't see any need to panic. The dam didn't burst at $1-1/2, in fact it was barely a trickle. Look at the number of shares that were traded below $1-1/2. You have to look hard even to find them, and they were small trades to boot. Everything offered at the ask of $1-1/2 was gobbled up. I think this was a temporary dip. Congratulations to those that got in at $1-1/2. I think we'll be back to $1-5/8ths again early next week, if not higher.

After sleeping on it, I still believe that the TX deal could be a week, a month, two months, etc. away. RNTK has been saying they're in "advanced stages" for months which, in my mind, indicated they've been working on the wording, not the details, for some time. Has Mark told me anything new? Not really. Who knows when TX will get around to finalizing? TX has their own agenda and schedule and could request additional modifications at any time. Mark has always communicated this reality and, regrettably, I did not reflect this in my earlier post. Sorry if it came across as overly optimistic. I am hopeful that we are closer to a deal - but who knows? It is not my intention to hype or mislead anyone, or to imply that Mark is feeding me any information which he should not.

Steve

i checked with my sources at Texaco, and they told me that "the deal" is only a matter of semantics now. Thought you all may like to know.
