Jim P., your assumption that you can overlay charts and make predictions of future price performance on the basis that companies are similar in one or more ways, is simply wrong.

Comparing DELL and YHOO is a completely irrelevant comparison. You know better than that.

You have to compare DELL to companies within its industry group, for instance, CPQ, GTW, HWP, SUNW, and DEC. I would even be hesitant to make a comparison between IBM or AAPL, and DELL, since their businesses are not really the same. The market for AAPL's products is not the same market shared by DELL, nor is IBM really a comparable company to DELL. IBM is a much more diversified company (diversification that has hampered it's growth, but provided stability).
