Earnings Plays past and present....

Safeskin (SFSK) which I mentioned about a month ago when it was about 32 is now 46.. I still love this company as as the daughter of a doctor who's used these gloves for years, I think there is a lot of steam left in this company.

Compuware (CPWR)is a great company and bought by 24 mutual funds since last reporting period.

TXI(TXI) on our earnings plays watch list reported net income for the fiscal year ended May 31 was up 35%, earnings per share for the fiscal year was up 37% and sales for the fiscal year were up 23%.

I'm still bullish on Warner Lambert and Schering-Plough (reports the 22nd).. The drugs are always in hot demand.

AEOS.. a favorite of mine. I think it has lots more steam and potential gains.

EAII.. was a favorite of mine in the past and will retain a place on the earnings play watch list for the period July 27-July 31. Its a great little company with accelerated earnings going forward now. It's an excellent prospect.

MSPG.. I'm very exciting about MSPG reporting on the 22nd and will definitely be accumulating on any retreats until then

ADSI..not too glamourous but I think this will go the way of all the waste disposal companies at its report. Pollution control is a very important concern of concerned citizens of a better environment.

Some of the highlights of the next few weeks. No earnings shortfalls here!! We will be focusing on Medical Instrument companies, Insurance companies, Dental supplies, Wireless and cable products, business services, advertising, etc. etc. Not too many companies with links to Asia but with good fundamentals and good technicals abounding...

RD

Briefing.com
has JAII as July 24

I cant stress enough that if you have dollars on an earnings play
and you want to be out before earnings
You really need to call the company or look at their website
(and if you are going to play it right up until the bell, you might want to check twice to make sure they havent changed the date with the last one being a CALL in case they didnt update the website)

I am seeing over and over again where the misc sites get it wrong

My own personal example was MER
and I called the company to make sure because i was seeing Tues, Wed, Thur
and I was thinking of playing AVI and they reported this week instead of next week as reported in some places....
