They are...

I suppose what you are getting at is why can't AMD run the same speed grades as Intel? Because AMD isn't as good at making K6s as Intel is making Pentium IIs...process tech, design rules etc....still the case but AMD has gotten better. I'm certainly in agreement that no one can pump out chips like Intel.

Why did Intel sell 333 MHz cpu's wich COULD be over clocked to 400, while it still took a month before the 400's were for sale ?
