SRCM's "Buggy" Virtual Modem <<<I have spoken to Veanna, nice lady too and what she was able to say was that although the patents help to form the basis of their technology it is their NEW-software which pushes the technology >>> Gee whiz, rocketman, Are they now admitting the patents really won't restrict anyone from cable internet access? ~phew~ that's good... I'll bet they had MSFT and @Home just a quiver'in. I'm not sure what you are trying to say here, but it sounds like you are trying to tell me, (sell me, spin me, whatever - you choose), that SRCM really has a software technology that can provide a better service than... say @Home or MSFT. You MUST be saying SRCM's technology and software is better? Because SRCM must directly compete with these giants to sell internet services to the cable companies? Hey - but wait a sec bud, so far two out of the three Cable contracts SRCM has have all but evaporated - Col Springs quit and Denton reports they are not interested in SRCM's services? Why would they quit if SRCM's technology and new software were so darn great? Well I'm sure the early failure was just bad luck -- I'm sure SRCM will be able to compete and win cable contracts going up against the industry giants specially when they cut their R&D by almost 50% last year. Man did you buy the farm on this one! You are trying to tell me SRCM's "virtual modem" technology -- with ZERO installations, and ZERO cable contracts will win out in this market? Fact is, SRCM does not have anything more than a "buggy" prototype of the super duper "virtual modem" do they rocketman? Sounds like it is "virtually non-existent" to me, except to dazzle investors who know nothing of the industry!! SRCM has (IMO) nothing competitive to sell and no one willing to buy their schpeil, and they are no where near ready to provide any service that is "industry" competitive as a cable ISP. I suggest you run down and get yerself one a them extra strength cappuccinos - you need to wake up bud. Cheers Steve
