I have been using Datek for over a year. During this time, there have been some problems. For example, last year, Datek did not have enough capacity to do a good and fast job of executing orders. Trying to get on was impossible. If one did get on the wait was unbearable. I complained. They were aware of the problem and added servers. Datek has a terrible reputation in the area of customer service. They used to post here to address problems and it seemed as if they did care about what we were saying for awhile. Now, the access and speed problem is with us again. I'm complaining via E-mail because I know they can deliver better service - I've seen it and have been relatively happy with them. However, if they do not give me an adequate reason for the current problem and a plan for solving it, I will probably take my business elsewhere. I would prefer not to do that because I have found Datek to be the best trade executers bar none so far. Hope they get their act together soon.
