You will have to talk to QP. I just use the program, heard rumors of another year or so for ver 1. Between this thread and Brooke's site, you have enough scans coming out of your ears. With examples aglore to work from, you should have no problem. I have never installed VER 1.

I would not have switched to QP, if it were not for version 2. The full power of it remains untapped. The company has not grown to the point, like others, where the user's needs are not considered.

Overreacting. everything is easier. I can remember people, who kept their B/W TVs for 20 or more years, waiting for color to be perfected.

Got for it. If you like QP1, you'll love QP2.

Since QP web sites says they are no longer selling new copies
of QP1, one might suspect that Win 3.1 users should be getting
nervous.

As to conversion of QP1 to QP2 scan formulas:
* It isn't that bad
* QP2 does take a tad of learning
* Converting some existing scans might be as good
a tutorial as there is.

Meanwhile I got QP1 on my Win 3.1 desktop and QP2 on my Win 95 portable until I bite the bullet and switch the desktop.
