Matt,

You can watch trading the week before options expiry.. if it does like this week and sit in between 2 BIG positions, you can bet that the MMs hold calls on the low end and have sold calls on the high-end. So you may want to write calls during the last week (not sure what the rules are for writing them.. ) for the upper bound.

Please bear in mind that BIG news such as earnings, etc. throw a monkey wrench into the whole thing.
