The problem with Tyler is that he has no passion for the markets. He is an articulate talking head who can read the copy like he is supposed to. That is the difference between the average reporter and the great ones. I for one would put Karen Gibbs, Cavuto, Bob Francis, in this category. All had passion. The new talking head, Liz Claman used to work in Boston on channel 7. She is another one who has no passion for financial reporting. Talk about goofy. Kathleen Hayes is and excellent journalist. She is smart and incisive. I used to love the roundtable segment at 6pm with Cavuto. That was a good show. Especially with Bill Wollman(?). And any time you have Lawrence Kudrow, formerly of Bear Stearns, it is well worth watching.

Nope. I like ruffled feathers but this guy is a loose cannon and, at least to me, irritating. When he's on I hit the mute button. Rogers at least acts like a civilized human being. To each his own, I guess.
