Good question Nick...
People are all buying purely for the DRIV play. Personally I don't think they know exactly why they are buying. Mostly a herd mentality. I have followed this company for 1 1/2+years now. I don't think more than 2 of the last 50 postings on this board have had anything to do with TSQD's core business. M Frank is about the only one I have seen talk about TSQD's business and no one seems to pay attention or care. People just want to get a piece of an "internet play". I would say if the price moves much higher proceed with caution.

The answer to your question is one part technical, and the other psychological (if you will). First, if DRIV's stock price press far past its IPO price, then TSQD, a major shareholder, will benefit in their next Quarterly report. Simple enough. The second part is that with DRIV's price driving upward, investors know that TSQD will at some time in the future capitalize on their DRIV stock, whether they sell, borrow against, etc. Investors, therefore, are willing to pay more for the stock knowing that TSQD's investments are profitable. TSQD's position in DRIV is not a far stretch from (let us use Ford for this example) Ford investing in modernization hoping to increase profit margins through capital investment. Grant the example is a little different than TSQD's situation, but I think the point is illustrated.

Nick,

To understand what DRIV is worth to TSQD, you do not have to look any farther than what happened with CMGI.

CMGI is a holding co. for private (pre-IPO) Internet companies. When their investments when public and performed well in the aftermarket, CMGI soared in price commensurate with the value of their Net holdings.

Regards.
