you're right. nearly everyone with a name in NYC has connections in Isreal. Isreal has quickly become the technology center of the old world. CEO of the RNB (Republic Bank NY) should buy more shares in Orckit; we need exposure. momentum players consider Orckit a "koolaid in a soft drink business". frankly Orckit's the "real thing" as it has (a) renewing income stream from products sold, (b) strong worldwide partnerships, (c) leading market products, (d) potential income from service agreements as their products become more widely used and widespread, (d) R&D that is second to none, (e) products to serve both niche and general use, (f) strong management ownership/involvement, (g) competitive advantages.
