Papaya, what a shocker! Remember, two straight Qs of negative growth is, I believe, the technical definition of recession.

It is truly amazing that in midst of all the talk about the goldilocks economy we are suddenly told about the possibility of negative growth this Q. And this while lending quality is detiorating, debt load is increasing and the money supply picture is very inflationary!

Couple this with possibility of a currency crisis in Latin America to add more moementum to the deflationary fire.

Not too mention that all of this may be exacerbated by, or cause, the end of the bull market. (The "money flow" argument doesn't work as well if people can't AFFORD stock, or need to sell to make ends meet).

Hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. :-)
