insook, in my part of the woods the cable modem rental and service is about $45 a month. the reviews from friends are all raves. $20 for a 2nd phone line and $20 for service and you only pay $5 extra for lightning speed.

i'll be getting one set up soon. i'll let you know how it goes :-)
