Options create leverage I bet with options and invest with stocks. This keeps away the urge to tinker with my stocks. If you think VVUS will run sometime between now and end of year, why not leverage yourself with options. Depending on the position taken, for about 2% to 8% of a VVUS stock investment one can double the amount of shares to benefit from. Knowing when to buy and sell them creates the bet. Seems to me those that sell calls are betting against the stock run. Well I am betting is runs, at least to the end of the year. if not by then, it may be time to move on.
