On Israel/India friendship.

JPR

Nothing wrong with having arguably the 'best brains' in the world as friends,it is the stupid lot that I have a problem with.<gg>

Israel excels in high tech, argiculture [particularly drip irrigation], defence,finance/business and wouldn't ya know HUMOR, and India can certainly benefit from their friendship in all these areas particularly humor <gg>,also they might be of help in building better relations between in India-U.S.

However I don't agree with some of their policies towards the Palestinians. I also don't know whether India could exert any kind of pressure in resolving the Palestinian issue, I recall India had a soft spot for them a while back don't know what the relationship now is between India & Palestine.I believe religious extremists are the main hindrance in resolving the Palestinian issue,I suppose religious nuts are everywhere and Israel is no exception.

How to eradicate the 'NUT' problem:-

Exile all the fanatics and of the world from all religions to an isolated island somewhere and let them have fun with each other. We might need a very big island [perhaps even a continent might be needed-Australia might be good place to start] for the purpose in the beginning but in a few years a small island could do just fine and what seems like an insurmountable problem now will be solved by itself before we know it.<gg>

It's all right to have trade relations with Israel, or any country for that matter. But among many Indian people that I have spoken to, there appears to be a feeling that Israel will "help" India get rid of the "Pakistan problem".

In some other versions of the delusion, the prophecy is slightly different -- together, Israel and India will "settle" the issue once and for all!

Which is ridiculous. The conflict in the Middle East dates back to Biblical times, for crying out loud! That's two thousand years, and there's still no "victor" in sight!
