Hi Jim, I have been lax running the scan for stocks above 200 Day Moving Average but got around to it today and was really surprised. Below are the S&P 500 numbers along with Nasdaq (5808 Issues in my database) and NYSE (2973 in my Database).

07/06/98
S&P #Above200DMA 328,65.60%
NASD #Above200DMA 2038,35.09%
NYSE #Above200DMA 1459,49.08%
07/17/98
S&P #Above200DMA 326,65.20%
NASD #Above200DMA 2175,37.45%
NYSE #Above200DMA 1479,49.75%

I really felt that the change between 7/6 and 7/17 would be a lot different!

Monty
