FYI- Steve Push's Response to Message Board Investors..... I picked this up on the Silicon Investor GENZL thread Friday... WSJ 7/24/98 Steven Push... "More than 2/3 of the GEnzyme Generals's stock is held by Institutional Investors, while the largest audience he had on the Internet was about 100 people"... "Do you spend you time talking to 100 individual investors, or talking to 100 institutional investors? I (Push) think the boards are an excellent tool, and I will continue to use them in a situation where there is a lot of misinformation in the market... but I can't justify the daily expenditure of my time". I think this is unfortunate. I have pending questions about these "Institutional Investors" he spends so much time with. I believe strongly in the minority investors right to know. The 1/3 percentage of stockholders seem to be concerned with the stock and its future. These are tough questions, and I wonder if it is just a "Don't have the time" issue. I think it is important that the answers are on line... for all of us to see. You said yourself Steve, "If you are going to do voluntary disclosures, the Internet is as good a place an any" Come on Steve... please give up just a bit of your day and respond to the pending questions. That would show some good faith to the 1/3 who "would have been better off in T-Bills"... 1. Director COLLIERS Form 3 - 1997.... Why was the filing delayed for 3 months, and how many shares are involved? 2. What is the companies position on the Tender Offer for the Paine Webber R+D Partners Units by Bioroyalties, LLC? Was ANY General Partners of GENZYME DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS, LP compensated by this cash transaction? 3. What was the trigger for the massive "Profit Taking Spree" of Sr., Officers of the company in 1997-early 1998? Thank you for your time. CAVEAT EMPTOR
