"It is unreasonable to make projections now since there simply is not enough data", Gino says.

xray further comments to say that "This approach to investing is dangerous, naive, gullible, or all of the above."

xray you seem to be a 'numbers and formulas' man, which can often be used to explain stock valuations. I must admit I can understand your viewpoint but I agree more with Gino here. Whether NIR currently represents good value remains to be seen due to lack of historical data because the products are new but I would (and have) put more emphasis on its future potential than in past sales figures. The product truly speaks for itself, I have been trying the SV-35 product with good results so far.

Right now I can cite 2 Very Big examples of where the stock valuation formulas don't seem to fit (AMZN and YHOO). Especially for the internet stocks lately, 'mania' is the only term that seems to apply, watch out if (when?) the internet bubble bursts.

Check these postings out:

exchange2000.com

And this one is kinda interesting too:
exchange2000.com

On the other end of the spectrum are 'broken' stocks whose market cap. is less than the company's fixed assets, I'm sure there have been examples.

So the traditional formulas do not always apply. But if anyone does gather enough accurate and current information to provide an accurate valuation of stock price (ideally with some decent projections), then I'm sure we would all like to know.

Since we don't have anything better to discuss here while we are waiting for some company fundamentals, let's play with the numbers. (I'm sure Mr. Grinnell will have a good laugh )

OK,
What is evryones GUESS as to what P/E the market may assign .
What is your guess as to the net profit/share as a percentage of gross sales.
What is your estimate of gross sales.

Mine:
P/E of 40:1 to start
20% earnings.
Sales 1st year of 65 million $

this makes yearly earnings of .43 / share
and a share price of $17.20

Don't laugh, it could be true...

The new year starts Aug 1 for Napier.

Al

"IF one was going to follow a newsletter, better one that dosen't obviously have his hand in the promoters pocket like Neil Maedel. For the record (contrary to what has been implied) Bunka has made statements to the effect that one would be crazy not to be taking at least some"
