Crossy, only thing I could see on PWAV is slow stochastics shows oversold.Macd neutral,OBV and MF negative.Stock is below 50dma and 200 dma so I'm curious why you would consider it?How reliable is Doji star pattern?I'm beginning to believe in TA more and more.Bought IDTI even figuring it was fake out as there was no double bottom as Macd broke thru 9ema.Sold for quick 11% in two days and could have done better with a little luck.
I might be seeing things that aren't there necessarially there such as double top on ANTC.Panicked and sold too soon possibly. It's still in the bullish channel and maybe is just setting up for next run.I'd appreciate your thoughts on ANTC although I have no position in it just for the learning experience.I've gone to a few sites that do Candlesticks so have a vague idea. They even offer their analysis and backtesting which on the few dozen or so stocks I backtested they were right about as often as a coin flip.Guess that's what you get for free.Doji star I do recall was rated highly as a reversal signal.
Lately I've been paying greatest attention to trading channel violations. They seem more reliable in conjuntion with Macd,OBV,MF and slow sto than I ever would have believed.BTW I have a virgin mind as far as TA having only read HTTMIS by O'neill so maybe I'm jumping to conclusions as it's made me a few bucks of late.
I'd be interested to hear which books impressed you most?(TA wise)
Essentially all I did was backtest a few things with ideas garnered from reading traders postings for whatever that's worth.
Have a good weekend,Dave

Dear Crossy - thx for the heads up. PWAV does look good. Has it come out with earnings yet? A quick look at the chart seems to suggest it did [or preannounce] a few weeks ago but haven't go thru the news and stuff.

best, Bosco
