Speaking physician to "physician", I have to question the motives of one who does his medical research on a chat board!!! Make a few phone calls, try the University Centers. Talk to the primary researchers. That's what I did when NASI was trading at $4.

There are many other professional channels as well as medical chat boards for physicians only. For example try Physicians on Line. If you're strapped for cash, I believe you can get a free trial month.

The company that will do best is the company with the best research backing it up, and the one that has the right balance of being embraced by managed care, the medical community, and patients.

As I explained many months back early on this thread, the low costs and advantages to seed implants over conventional TURP has great appeal to the average 60 year old male considering his options.

Do you get a lot of useful medical information from the SI? I strongly suggest if you have a question about any of the medical procedures that you are doing (especially if you are uncomfortable with any of them) from a professional source or peer. That's what being a professional is all about.

This is a stock chat group not a medical chat group. Good luck in your trading.

Dr. S.Q.

Thanks for the reply.
>>The company who will do best in this business is the one that can provide seeds quickly and at a reasonable cost...which I'm sure you know.<<

I agree. But the asking price of $40-48 is not a high price given the cost of alternative techniques. Will a lower cost seed cause you to change supply if that supplier has no track record? Would you put your Amersham or Theragenics contract in jeopardy and buy from the new players before he has established his ability to supply?

Most companies new into the market will only be able to supply small amounts of seeds. Despite the talk about high volumes and large profits, there is some black magic to making seeds. The line does not produce 10,000 seeds per week in the first week and in some weeks the production is lower than others and there are many reasons for this.

NASI has been selling seeds for 7 months now and still their market share among seed makers must be single digits. They have potential but what I am saying is that it takes time and I wonder if Amersham and THRX customers are reluctant to switch and risk losing their position with these market leaders. Any thoughts?
