LOL on the analyst upgrades - that has been my observation as well. I have learned to head for the hills when the analysts all upgrade! :)

I intend to go back into AAPL. I did manage a 7/8 profit in SUNW today (in in the morning on the pullback, out in the afternoon), which is better than the erosion of my AAPL position had I stayed in.

I sold AAPL yesterday and SUNW today on a crossover of the MACD of the RSI on 1-hour bars. This is usually a pretty reliable indicator of short-term tops, though it got me out a bit later than your intuition. You do have to move quickly on this, because when it crosses-over, the handwriting in on the wall.
