I doubt "options expiration day" had much to do with a sharp rise right at close. Someone or a group, closer to the "action" then us, was acting on a belief, right or wrong, that grabbing some shares late Friday, would be cheaper then getting them Monday.

I suspect something's up, but of course, who knows what. :)
