Rampage, What do I think about the coming weeks?

You know, early this morning, I was feeling slightly optimistic about Westfort. I was thinking, if it fell to the 1.00-1.50 range, that I might just pick up a few shares. I believed that there was probably some upward potential when the hole is completed.

After hearing about Maedel's comments and reading that rebuttal, I agree that the trading story is a dead pony. Both Maedel and the rebuttal stopped my optimism dead in its tracks. Perhaps things are worse than even I had suspected. Or perhaps not. But the point is, who can tell?

I think WT will soon have some more sunny day press releases. That was expected and is likely already priced into the market. What was unexpected is this new attack from a former supporter. I'm not sure that has been priced into the market yet.

Having said that, I am still thinking of eventually picking up some shares in WT. Perhaps if the market cap goes below $10 million. What price would that be? How many shares are outstanding? I'll have to check.

Mike

Hi rampage,
The only info I can give about the houses is that they have been quietly accumulating shares of WT. None that I mentioned have an analyst assigned to WT nor do they have any immediate intentions of doing so.
With regards to WT being dipped by the traders I don't know. All I have info on is that a stop loss for C$2.00 of 60,000 sh was executed on a day that trading in the stock was gap down. I didn't follow WT during that particular day because I was traveling. I believe that WT had closed the day before at C$2.10 and the high the next day was C$2.00. Weather traders dipped the stock or pre-market orders gapped WT down I don't know. Like I said I was traveling and I may have my figures mixed up. Do I?
At any rate the info I wanted to get across was the stop loss being executed not any speculation of how it came to pass.
Best Regards,
Bruce

Rampage, you wrote:

If a stop loss was triggered at 2.00 so be it. If Grant said that a broker had 60,000 stop loss at $2.00 then I would have to take his word on it. How would you find out that he wasn't telling the truth?

You ask how I would find out the truth. Read my recent post.

Do you still take Grant at his word?
