Could the guy who allegedly spoke to Hagedorn have gotten it backwards? Maybe the purchase of the bonds is an attempt to avoid a hostile takeover. I'm sure CUBE has rejected a number of offers (you cynics can smirk all you want, but it is commonplace among companies to have these types of discussions, even if only informal.) For all the reasons we longs think CUBE is a good buy at these prices, so do many large companies.
