Anyone have the fast run-up and equally fast decline of Oilex's stock over the last 2 days figured out. Found some postings saying long term players in this stock might do well since the new investor has taken a large position in the company and intends to protect his investment now that he has been elected to the board. Also I would think that the management would be all over the market maker for not supporting the price of the stock on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. After the recent run-up, I know that some people will take profits, but it seems to me that with the possibility of a merger, that most would want to stay in for a while longer and see if there is some real money to be made. This being the case, it would be in managements best interest to protect the shareholders interests by insisting that the MM support the price and not panic the rest of the shareholders. Maybe the management needs to look into finding new mm's who will keep the price
in a tighter trading range and not let a little profit taking punish the long term investors. Anyone else have any thoughts about this or anything else concerning Oilex.
