OT, (but somewhat ON-topic, read on...)

While I have also noted that SI has been unresponsive at time lately, you should make sure you aren't using a proxy when this happens.

I do use a proxy, though I have the option of not using it. (I have @Home service.) When a site becomes unresponsive, first I try turning off the proxy and going "direct". About half the time, this clears-up the problem.

Most of the time, using the proxy is faster, at least on popular sites. But at peak times, the proxy gets overloaded - @Home needs to beef up their proxy servers!

So, my on-topic suggestion - if you use a proxy, turn if off if Datek seem unresponsive.

Speaking of Datek, orders7 has been horrible lately. I will get 3 or 4 "temporarly unavailable" screens for every real response. This is pretty scarey when placing an order!

I haven't kept up with the server shuffle at Datek. What are the other express servers now? Where is the full list of servers - I couldn't find it by navigating the Datek site.

I am remiss in not updating my Super-Express to handle alternate express servers, and plan on doing that this weekend. I suppose I am to blame for some of the congestion on orders7. :)
