Dal received a very negative downgrade yesterday and AMR the day before. DAL tanked. It has a very long way to fall. If the dow transports do not confirm this upmove (and how can they with all the airlines being slammed?) then the dow theorists will find the move suspect.

Bill, we need to differentiate between tops and BK's IMHO the top is near (next week) if not in place. Just take see the charts of the darling stocks - straight up in an "upward crash mode" some call it fifth wave. BWDIK Haim

The transports performed what this amateur elliotician regards as a failed fifth wave (I talked to another this morning who thought 5th was completed on 4/22) with a nasty reversal. In 7/20 IBD is a headline story about the government crackdown on airlines. The transports were a leading indicator on the January rally and blasted out of an ascending triangle. I believe they are performing the same function on the way down. BK soon! bwdik, bb
