The main goal off CCing and SWing and writing puts is to make moderate, incremental, and safe profits - more like income as Herm has often described. Therefore, the ideal stock need not skyrocket, or necessarily even go up. It just needs to not PLUMMET! I'm sure many of us along the way have been burned a few times by poorly picked CC candidates that have gone South.

This leads to my point: How can we systematically screen for optionable stocks that
have has a much better probability of remaining stable or going up than dropping?
Seems as if many are able to succeed at using software to ferret out the winners of the
stock market. Shouldn't it be easier to screen out some steady, safe CC candidates?
