That is a good rule, I suspect that is what will happen on Monday. The stock might be a good trade for a point or better on such a dip. The problem is, with such a small float, who knows where the dip will go?

Imagine if you had a "market buy at the open" order for 2,000 shares, (not uncommon with clients that got the IPO shares, and what ran it up 10 points in one minute IMHO) expecting it to open at around 18 or 20, and you got your shares at 71. No margin, you owe 142 grand cash, and that stock is worth 18 grand less than you paid. If you don't have the cash, you must sell your IPO shares to cover. I think the stock will back off on Monday.
