Actually, Jim, I do believe there are five divisions at SEC: Enforcement; Market Regulation; Investment Management; Corporate Finance and Inspections and Compliance. There's also the office of the General Counsel.

Assuming this supposed e-mail was sent (and I doubt it was), it most likely would have gone to the Enforcement Division.

As a practical matter, Jim, my friend probably would not be able to find anything on this because (a) Turboe does not have any information about inside information in Kasha's possession; (b) it is highly unlikely any email exists, since Turboe has consistently refused to produce it; (c) last time I checked, it is not against the law to possess inside information about a company, just to trade on it.

I think it would be far more likely that at some point in time, the SEC would take up an investigation of people who post on these threads under the guise of being investors when, in fact, they are paid to hype a particular stock.
