hurting perhaps. "averaging up", perhaps. obviously i'm not sure of what's going on. i do know a broker at deacon that loves to short companies, and he often does so in a big way. and the trading behaviour i've observed is consistent with someone shorting a position.

open text is not a company i would want to short right now.

if earnings come out pretty good, anyone who has short the stock could get hurt a little. nothing better than a little "squeeze" !!

And hurting some more today...nice breakout over the200mda with some decent blocks...let's keep the 'hurt' on, eh?

insider trading reported in todays financial post.....

"richard lawrence, director or officer of a 10% holder, bought 25,000 shares for US$19.12 to hold 125,000 indirectly."

i interpret this as positive.
