Sal,

Those are my five personal trading and investing portfolios.

<<Last year I had an average 98% return on 5 portfolios,> I'm impressed. Is there anyway we can learn more about these portfolios?>>

My lowest return was 54% and highest was 245% so you can imaging I'm taking considerable risk and using shorting as well as buying long to achieve that.

For example my most recent play was a company that is in a business with which I am familiar. ADVH. However I started buying some at 12, it is now trading under 4. Only half it's book value. My paper losses there would buy a new Lexus LS400. I've averaged down and still expect a profit in six months or so. But you have to know the business, do your DD, and know whether you will take a loss or buy more if the price drops.

This is not something you learn overnight or get from "tips". So I don't promote tips. I just try to buy out of favor stocks with good business prospects, and be patient. I do the same on the short side. I held a short position in PRST for 14 months. I had a short position in ZITL fo 8 months. Both winners, but they went against me for a while, a "trader" might have just jumped out with a loss.

Value has a way of finally being reflected in the stock price.
